Where I want to be in 10 years time.
In 10 years time hopefully I’ll be further up the banding. I don’t know whether I’ll be in the same unit as I am now or somewhere completely different, but I hope I’m in a job where I feel happy and fulfilled, where I walk away at the end of the day knowing I’m making a difference. I want to be the type of nurse people want on their team or want on shift with them. I want to be reliable, knowledgable and approachable. I want to be the type of nurse other staff feel like they can go to for help with anything. I want to inwardly and outwardly be competent and confident in my work. And I really want to be the type of nurse that patients have faith in and know they can trust, that they know will give the highest quality care I can.
